Why Automate SEO Blog Posts?

What Will This Workflow Generate?

After successfully running this workflow, you'll have an image with text and a complete blog post ready to be published in Webflow CMS. While we use Webflow CMS in this guide, you can adapt this process to any other content management system or website.

How Does This Workflow Function?

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how to automate your SEO blog posts:

Step 1: Extract YouTube Transcript

Start by going to any YouTube video, such as one from a trusted creator. Toggle off the timestamp in the transcript and copy the entire text. Paste this transcript into a Google Sheet along with the YouTube video link. Set the status of this row to 'pending' to filter which rows have been processed and which haven’t.

Step 2: Trigger the Workflow

The workflow is triggered whenever a new row is added to the Google Sheet. The YouTube transcript is then passed to an AI model, which generates a structured output in JSON format. This output includes the blog title, URL slug, description, body, and other necessary fields for Webflow CMS.

Step 3: Generate the Blog Image

Use Templated.io to create a custom image for your blog post. Insert the blog title into a pre-designed template using Canva. This image will serve as the thumbnail for your blog post.

Step 4: Publish to Webflow CMS

Once the AI generates the blog content and the image is ready, the workflow automatically populates the Webflow CMS with the blog title, slug, date, category, post summary, body, and thumbnail image. You can choose to publish the blog immediately or review it manually before going live.

Step 5: Update Google Sheet

After the blog is successfully generated, the workflow updates the Google Sheet to mark the status as 'done' and includes the Blog ID from the Webflow response.

Why Choose This Workflow?

This workflow is designed to save you time and effort while ensuring your blog posts are SEO-optimized and ready to publish. Unlike other creators who monetize their workflows, I provide this workflow for free in the YouTube video description, allowing you to import it directly into your N8N instance.
